SmashLode makes dance music the way a room is dressed: deliberately, and for the hours after midnight. Founder of LoudLode Records, his catalogue runs from the rolling tech house of Take the Fastlane and I Like It through mainstage-scaled records like Richer, and Carried By The Beat... to the harder techno he saves for the last hour of the night.

Live, the project is a single unbroken arc — no glitch, no gimmick, just a slow tightening of the room. Residencies and guest slots have carried the show through Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, London and Ibiza, with the Sphere Sessions mixes documenting the mainstage side and Afterdark the hard techno one.

The uniform is ivory, leather and steel. The rest is volume.
